This is one of the few rock tunes I've written. It was inspired by hearing the great Roy Clarke talk about his floundering career during the mid '80s. He said, "I think at this point I may be #1 in China, but not much is happening for me these days." I thought that being #1 in China would put you up with Mao or Confucious. Not so bad.
